It comes down to a matter of personal preference and which would be best suited to your mobility needs.

For example, we typically recommend walk in showers for wheelchair users, as they offer completely unrestricted access across the whole room.

Once you’ve chosen which type of mobility bathroom you would like, there are countless different styles and optional extras which you can add to make it unique and to your taste.

Our mobility bathrooms are designed with low maintenance in mind, for your convenience.

The difference between a walk in a shower and a full wet room is the shower tray (or lack of). In the case of a wet room, it is completely open plan, offering unrestricted access to all areas. The water flows down through a drain in the floor.

With a walk in shower, there is a shallow tray that the user needs to step into. The water is contained within this tray and there is usually a door or cover around it to stop the water spilling out.

Whether you choose a walk in shower or wet room will depend on your level of mobility, and your style preferences. If you are in a wheelchair, a wet room is recommended for completely unrestricted access.
